The data we collect and why it is collected: Personal data means any information capable of identifying an individual. It does not include anonymized data. We may possess the following categories of personal data about you: first and last name, email address(es), mobile phone number, organization providing you our service, and your account number at that organization.
How do we collect your personal information: Block Time Financial collects your personal information in the initial registration process when your account is opened by you or the organization providing you our service. You may view and edit any personal information we have collected in the registration process under the profile settings tab inside our platform.
How the data is used: Block Time Financial uses information collected on this site to help compile broad statistical trends that help us improve navigation and content. We use some of your personal information in our account registration process for security measures and to communicate transactions with you. You may disable transaction communications from our platform by removing your email and/or mobile number in the profile settings tab inside our platform. We do not sell or distribute non-public information, including email addresses collected via our registration site, to any third party. We will never utilize data obtained from individual consumers without the permission of both our client and the individual consumer.
Sensitive Data: We do not collect any sensitive data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offenses.
Security of Personal Information: The management of Block Time Financial limits employee access to information to those with a business reason for knowing such information. We educate our employees on the importance of maintaining consumer confidentiality and we enforce our privacy policies with appropriate disciplinary procedures.
Security Best Practices: Block Time Financial operates secure data networks protected by industry-standard firewalls, encryption, and password protection. The company enforces security procedures to protect confidential information from loss, misuse, or alteration. When customers connect with our secure server, we do collect data to interact with you. This is done through session cookies and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) which encrypts or scrambles your data so that no one else can read it. Data collected may include, but is not limited to, domain name, pages visited, and length of the session.
Sharing of Personal Information: Block Time Financial will not reveal specific information about consumer accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use except as follows:
- When the information is required to complete a transaction initiated by the consumer.
- When the consumer requests it.
- When disclosure is required by law (e.g. subpoena, investigation of fraud, etc.); or
- When the consumer has been informed about the possibility of disclosure for marketing or similar purposes through a prior communication, and the consumer is given the opportunity to decline or “opt-out.”
Business Relationships with Third Parties: Block Time Financial pledges that we will not share information with third parties that do not adhere to similar privacy principles and practices for keeping such information confidential.
What is a cookie?
Session cookies: these are only stored on your computer during your web session and are automatically deleted when you close your browser – they usually store an anonymous session ID allowing you to browse a website without having to log in to each page, but they do not collect any personal data from your computer; or
Persistent cookies: a persistent cookie is stored as a file on your computer and it remains there when you close your web browser. The cookie can be read by the website that created it when you visit that website again. We use persistent cookies for Google Analytics.

California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA)
The State of California has enacted “The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018” (“CCPA”) in response to consumers’ desire for privacy and more control over their personal information. The CCPA ensures (1) the right of California consumers to know what personal information is being collected about them; (2) the right of Californians to know whether their personal information is sold or disclosed and to whom; (3) the right of Californians to say no to the sale of personal information; (4) the right of Californians to access their personal information; and (5) the right of Californians to equal service and price, even if they exercise their privacy and rights.
While Block Time Financial is currently exempt from the CCPA’s new regulation, we fully meet the compliance requirements of the CCPA. We do not sell or share any personal information that might be in our system for Californians or any other user.
We honor the CCPA and GDPR Regulations’ “right to be forgotten” at all times. Should you wish to delete all information related to you, private or otherwise, simply login to your account, navigate to your profile page, and close your account. If you don’t yet have an account, simply email email@example.com with the subject remove. We’ll send a confirmation email and if confirmed, we will delete all information pertaining to that email address. All information and documents stored in the Block Time Financial system related to your account, as permissible by law, will be deleted via our secure shredder process. Some data related to financial transactions is statutorily required to be kept for certain periods of time.
